Rajesh M. Hegde

Rajesh M Hegde is a Professor  in the Dept. of Electrical Engineering and Dean Research and Development at IIT Dharwad (On Leave from IIT Kanpur). Prior to this, he was the Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and also the Center for Continuing Education (CCE) at IIT Kanpur. He held the Umang Gupta Chair Professor (Two Terms) and the P.K. Kelkar Fellow (2009-13) at IIT Kanpur. His areas of interest include Machine Learning, AI, future wireless networks, pervasive/mobile communication, WSN, IoT, speech/audio processing for ASR and VR, and multimodal information fusion. He also has considerable interest in robotics applications.
